One of Poland’s most versatile and innovative DJs, since 2006, he has travelled the world with two goals in mind – to bring joy to other people’s hearts and to show DJ-ing as a unique and complex art form. With a passion for both classic turntablism and modern DJ technology, he has developed a truly original style that has made him the first and only Polish DJ to win the Polish Championship twice in the world’s biggest and most prestigious DJ competition – Red Bull 3style – where thousands of DJs from around the globe compete every year. Moreover, he tries to be the best ambassador of Polish DJ-ing abroad. Thanks to his active online activity – where he shares his knowledge and ideas and develops new techniques of mixing and composing sets – he has gained a truly international group of fans and millions of views on his videos. Various portals and industry magazines write about him.
His victories in Red Bull 3style earned him the honour of representing Poland at the grand world finals, which took place in 2016 in Santiago, the capital of Chile, and in 2018 in Krakow, Poland. In addition to the most diverse corners of Poland, he has played in clubs in many European countries or even such distant places as Taiwan. He is also no stranger to festival stages – he has performed at Amsterdam Dance Event [Netherlands], Open’er Festival [Gdynia], Beats For Love [Czech Republic], Granatos Live [Lithuania], UpToDate [Białystok] and SnowShow Music Fest [a Polish festival held in the French Alps]. In addition to his tremendous success on the national battle scene, he also has an international title to his credit – winning the 2018 QSC Online DJ Battle, organized by Rock and Soul, New York’s oldest DJ store, in operation since the 1970s. As he does not accept any limitations, in his sets, he presents the whole range of different music genres, mixing them in various ways with the addition of finger drumming, live remixing, sampling, storytelling and, above all, with a large dose of good humour.
His relentless pursuit of innovation and dedication to the advancement of DJing has contributed to the proliferation and evolution of DJing techniques worldwide and the solutions that DJ equipment manufacturers incorporate into their equipment.
The collaboration is primarily the launch of the DDJ-XP1 controller and an appearance in its promotional video, which was recorded at the legendary club music venue – London Printworks – topped off with a special set played as part of the DJSounds Show at Amsterdam Dance Event 2017, where 69Beats shared the stage with the likes of Roger Sanchez, Gorgon City, Dannic, Honey Dijon and KiNK.
69Beats is also a highly respected teacher in the DJ community – his tutorials are highly regarded. As well as teaching on his channels, he also teaches at Superhero DJs. This international online school brings together many world champions and other great DJs to create a platform where less experienced DJs can learn highly advanced mixing techniques. In addition, he also collaborates with American DJcity [the top source of news and music for DJs, with regular features], Beatsource [a start-up music store and streaming service dedicated to “open format” DJs], French company MWM [producer of the revolutionary PHASE technology, allowing DJs to play from turntables without needles], and beyond the DJ scene, he’s collaborated with world giants like Red Bull [under whose banner he’s played countless events, including performances on the Red Bull Container Stage at Open’er and the publication of a routine on RB’s official channels which has racked up nearly 2 million views] and GoPro, of which he was an ambassador for several years.
