This class is for DJs who already know the basics of mixing and are comfortable with their equipment and software of choice, looking for their way to the next level in a broad sense, who want to train individually and their own pace to suit their skills, knowledge and style. Classes are taught 1:1, allowing to focus on specific subjects, clarify difficulties and put the theory into practice more quickly. Individual form also allows for flexibility in the timing and lenght of meetings. Participants work on their own equipment.

Requirements:

• own equipment and music collection
• knowledge and experience with basic hardware and software funcionalities
• mastered basic theory and mixing techniques [song structure, counting bars, understanding phrases, BPM, beatmatching, EQ-ing]

Scope of the classes may include:

• help with students own ideas – leveling up and polishing transitions/routines
• work with LOOPS
• different ways of using CUE POINTS
• harmonic mixing and key changing
• wordplay
• melodical transitions and routines [Tone Play, Pitch Play]
• transitions and routines based on sampling [in the DJ sense, NOT music production]
• scratch techniques for parties
• fingerdrumming for parties
• editing tracks in DAW for creative mixing
